Web Apps

You can open pages such as the virtual candle or the advent wreath as web apps. That means that you can add them to your phone’s  or tablet’s home screen and open them in fullscreen mode. This should work with most Android or iOS devices. Here’s how it works using Chrome or Safari.

Adding web apps to your home screen using Chrome

Open a page such as the virtual candle. Tap the menu button in the top right hand corner:

Select Add to Home Screen and then Add. 

 

Adding web apps to your home screen using Safari

Open a page such as the virtual candle, then tap the share button:

Tapp Add to Home Screen:

Please note that using the apps might require an active internet connection. Opening the app using mobile data may cause extra cost – please check your contract. The apps should work on all iPhones and iPads running the latest iOS version as well as on all Android devices running the latest version of Google Chrome.
